A songwriter/singer with a slurring and swooping register, Cass McCombs mixes dark humor, surrealism and a hint of tenderness into his work to create songs that manage to be quirky while retaining focus and clarity. His previous releases have earned him tours along side Modest Mouse, The Decemberists, The Shins and Iron & Wine, as well as a performance on the Peel Sessions, where he was hailed by the late John Peel as "unobtrusively brilliant." McCombs will be releasing his worldwide debut on new label, Domino Records, this summer.
