Licensing Manager
General Licensing
Field Locations


The Area Licensing Manager / Telephone Licensing Manager will act as liaison between music users and copyright owners. Will call on restaurants, bars, hotels and other businesses that play music in order to sell performing rights licenses.

The available ALM locations are as follows:

Tulsa, OK - Code: ALM - TUL

Las Vegas, NV - Code: ALM - LAS

Omaha, NE - Code: ALM - NB

Long Island, NY - Code: ALM - LI

Dallas, TX - Code: ALM - DAL

Birmingham, AL - Code: ALM - BIR

Position Responsibilities:

  • The sale of performing rights licenses to new clients
  • Research and pursue new business prospects

Compensation Structure:

  • Moderate salary base with a generous monthly commission that can greatly enhance annual compensation total
  • Commission may include: 10-30% of team revenue
  • Commission is based upon: meeting and/or exceeding monthly prospecting goals and meeting and/or exceeding monthly revenue goals
  • Full-time, employees are eligible for a generous benefit package including:
    25 days of paid time-off, 401(k), retirement savings program, medical, dental and vision coverage

Job Requirements:

  • Highly motivated individual
  • Proven successful sales track record with ability to close deals
  • Avid music lover
  • Inside sales - cold calls
  • Outside sales - in person (intangible exp. preferred)
  • Negotiation skills
  • Extensive travel over a large territory (ALM only)
  • Extensive knowledge of territory (ALM only)
  • Excellent organizational skills - work from home office
  • Ability to interact with a variety of clientele
  • PC literacy

Other information:

  • 10-week comprehensive training program
  • Prospects/Clientele can include: Bars, retail establishments, clubs, airlines, taverns, hotels, adult entertainment venues, entertainment parks
