2010 Guggenheim Fellowship Awards

The 2010 John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation 86th annual Fellowships to artists, scientists, and scholars included a number of ASCAP members: Mark Kilstofte, Jin Hi Kim, Seung-Ah Oh (BUMA), Marta Ptaszynska and Steven Kazuo Takasugi. Often characterized as "midcareer" awards, Guggenheim Fellowships are for those who have already demonstrated exceptional capacity for productive scholarship or exceptional creative ability in the arts. Time and again, the Foundation's choice of Fellows has proved prescient: thousands of celebrated alumni and scores of Nobel, Pulitzer, and other prizewinners grace its rolls.
