Devon Sproule is a singer-songwriter from Charlottesville, VA whose latest album is entitled !Don't Hurry for Heaven!, produced by her fellow singer-songwriter and husband, Paul Curreri and given four stars by Mojo and Uncut Magazine. Late last year, Sproule was honored with the ASCAP Foundation Sammy Cahn Award in New York City. More recently, she performed at "Songwriters: The Next Generation," a new showcase program of The ASCAP Foundation and the John F. Kennedy Center of the Performing Arts in Washington, DC. When Sproule was in Manhattan to accept her Foundation Award, she sat down with Paul Curreri, for this special live performance of her song "Old Virgina Block" in our Playback studio.
