Gabriel Flores

June 01, 2010

The first time Gabriel Flores had direct contact with music was at the age of seven, and it stuck. By the age of 14 he was named director of the Mariachi Juvenil Guadalupano alongside his brothers Victor and Alberto, which opened the doors to create and develop his personal compositions. Flores debuted his band, La Busqueda, taking on the duties of lead vocalist, arranger, producer and composer at just 22 years old. In his young career, Gabriel Flores has already seen incredible success. Jose Guadalupe Esparza asked him to make arrangements for a ranchero album he planned to release with his band Bronco. The result were songs like "Que No Me Olvide,""Huella Digital,""El Gigante de America"and "Por Ti,"which was nominated for a Latin Grammy in 2006. Flores's song "Para Que Regreses',"interpreted by El Chapo de Sinaloa, was included in the film Babel. He also has composed for Pepe Aguilar, Kumbia Kings, Belinda, Graciela Beltran and Conjunto Primavera, among others. Gabriel Flores has an inexhaustible passion for music that promises to carry him even further in his lifelong pursuit of extraordinary compositions.
